The adviser is the cliche of his profession: wise bordering on pompous, but loyal in his speech. He explains there is a magical mirror that will take them where they need to go, but it is deep within the underground, lurking with monsters. But with the mirror he gives them (a quick 'Magic Mirror Added to Equipment' popping up on the screen) they will be able to use it.
