I **WILL**

"Nah, just the meat for now." Which they already have out, covered in the wrapping it was packaged in and not a tin. Tidus takes it over to the chopping board, the onions pushed aside by the knife Tidus takes and gives a quick tap onto the board, to get rid of any still-clinging onion pieces.

"We'll cut it into chunks," he explains as he already does that, two decent-sized slices made to separate the processed meat from the rest, "and then see how it cooks with some light seasoning."

Because admittedly, Tidus doesn't know how it'll cook. Dicing it into cubes, he sees it has an almost...gelatinous consistency, as smooth as sausage looks on the outside. Kind of like pepperoni, but he knows it doesn't have that packed flavour in it. But the heated oil should work to give it some crisp, get the spices to stick, and with it cut into smaller squares and slid into a small bowl, they'll find out soon as Tidus moves it and himself over to the heat. The sizzling oil, and popping open the jar lids to sprinkle out some of the paprika and cumin, and dump it all into the pan with a hiss welcoming it.

He mixes everything together with a spatula some before letting the meat fry. A careful stir now and then.

"Paprika's got a smoky taste," he decides to share while cooking. "And the other one's got a nice aroma to it? They're good to cook together with," amounts to his reasoning for using both, a small laugh as admits, "Dunno what it's gonna taste like with this meat though."

But it shouldn't take more than a few minutes to give the meat some crisp, and while asking, "Can you get a plate?", Tidus will dish it over from the pan to the plate, grab some forks if Roland didn't think to get them himself.
